What are the track error correction methods?

Double track error correction: double your drift angle left or right depending on which side of track you have drifted and fly that heading to regain your track. This will only work if you are less than halfway to your destination.

Opening and closing angle method: use the 1:60 rule to find your opening and closing drift angles, and them together, and then correct your current heading left or right by the sum of the two angle to fly DIRECTLY to your destination.

Visual track error method: fly to a known landmark on your planned track and then alter your heading to correct for drift to fly along your track to your destination.
